Permit book revised 22 September 2026.

| Line | Reason | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname | The name the reels call you by | As long as the account stands |
| Email address | Matching the account to you each time you log in | As long as the account stands |
| Password hash | Checking your login while never keeping the password itself | As long as the account stands |
| Sign-up date | Support replies and abuse reports | As long as the account stands |
No other lines are entered. The permit book has no column for a real name, a street address, a birth date, a phone number or any kind of payment detail; nothing at the elevator is sold, so none of it would have a use. Lorne keeps the password only as a one-way hash, never in plain form. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (running the account you requested). Press delete on the account page and every line is struck at once.
| Line | Job it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Coins, level, missions, settings for each game | Resuming your play | Until browser data is wiped |
| Age confirmation | Skipping the same question on each page | Until browser data is wiped |
| Cookie choice | Recording your consent choice | Until browser data is wiped |
It is kept on your own device and never shipped to us.
With “Accept all”, Google Analytics and Google Ads tags go to work tallying visits and checking whether an advert brought a player to the elevator, say a first spin. Google then receives those events along with your IP address and device information. With “Essential only”, the tags keep to consent mode: they set no cookies and carry no advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.
For security, request logs sit with our host for a brief spell. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
Access, correction, erasure, restriction, objecting to processing, withdrawing consent: any of these is yours to ask for, at any time. The account page delete button wipes the account lines immediately; wiping this site’s data in your browser takes care of the remainder. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada hears complaints at priv.gc.ca.
First line on every Sloughside Elevator scale ticket: adults of 19 or over, nobody younger. The reels are fed with virtual coins, which have no monetary value; no one can buy one, sell one, withdraw one or exchange one. The tally office keeps no coin counter and no payment page, nothing hauled out of here has real-world value, and success here does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
