Siding rules

1. Who operates the siding

These terms govern your use of sloughsideelevator.com ("Sloughside Elevator", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of sloughsideelevator.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Age to play

Only users aged 19 or over may use Sloughside Elevator, and by using it you state that you are.

3. Coins in the permit book

  • The games run on virtual coins issued at no charge.
  • A coin has no monetary value; it is neither money, nor credit, nor property.
  • No coin can be bought, sold, withdrawn or handed to another person, nor traded for money, goods, services or prizes. Nothing is purchasable in the app.
  • No prize with real-world value is on offer.
  • We can adjust or reset coins, levels and features at any time.

4. No real-money gambling at the elevator

Sloughside Elevator neither runs nor advertises real-money gambling, and no link at the siding leads to a gambling operator.

5. Your permit book

  • Dockage Desk and Coulee Bonebed require a free account. One permit book to a person, never shared.
  • Your password is yours alone. Tell us right away if anyone else gets into your account.
  • You can strike your account out from your account page whenever you wish; it is gone at once, and for good.
  • Where a permit book is used to disrupt the site, or we believe its holder is under 19, Lorne may suspend it.
  • Coins, levels and missions are entered against the account; they are not your property, and Lorne may reset them.

6. Conduct at the siding

Leave the site undisturbed, keep automated tools off it, make no offer to trade coins, and let nobody under 19 use it.

7. Shutdowns and liability

You take the site “as is”, and Lorne may rework or shut down any part of it. Any malfunction voids all plays and pays. No liability that the law will not let be limited is limited by these terms, and your statutory rights stand as they were.

8. Law governing the siding

Governing law: the laws of the Province of Ontario, plus those federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.
